Legendary Joy Division bassist, Peter Hook is to hold an exhibition and auction of his wide ranging and historic collection of Joy Division and Factory Records memorabilia which as one of the most avid collectors he has put together over his four decades in music. The “Peter Hook Signature Collection” features many rare items from Hooky’s first band Joy Division as well from Factory Records including equipment, instruments, Hooky’s own guitar, rare vinyl, unique artwork and original posters from the era. The collection marks the first time these have been brought together for fans to view and is made up of many items, unseen since the ends of both Joy Division and Factory.

We’re fast approaching our 100th auction, and we’ve definitely put together a memorabilia sale well befitting such an auspicious occasion. As I usually say; where to start?! Well - there’s no getting away from the main attractions. Most of you not residing under rocks will surely have spotted our international news coverage (and maybe even heard Paul’s dulcet tones on radio 5 live) following our announcement that we’ll be selling David Bowie’s first ever studio recording.

Greetings once again to all our wonderful friends! A quick note here from me just wanting to give you the ol’ heads up on our fully loaded September vinyl sale which will be taking place back here at base on Wednesday 12th September at 10.30 sharp! As always there’s plenty of time for viewing; we’ll have the brews at the ready on Monday 10th (all day) and Tuesday 12th (up until 12.00 as there’s the small matter of a rather special memorabilia sale occurring too!).
