Clash Stage Memorabilia at Omega's Tour Merchandise and Posters Sale

Stage worn sleeveless jackets used by members of the Clash during the 1982 Combat Rock tour topped the bill at our tour merchandise, music posters and vintage punk fashion sale of June 25th. A red jacket likely worn by Joe Strummer sold for £5,040, whilst two similar examples likely worn by Paul Simonon / Strummer achieved £2,160. More strong results from the clothing items included: a circa 1979 Led Zeppelin baseball jacket selling for £2,400, three original ‘Kitsch London’ t-shirts made an incredible £1,680 from an estimate of £100 - £150, eight Iron Maiden t-shirts made £1,020 from a £100 - £150 estimate, a 1975 Led Zeppelin t-shirt took £720 from a £100 - £150 estimate, a pack of four original Siouxsie and the Banshees t-shirts took £840 from a £80 - £120 estimate.
In the poster section results included: a withdrawn design for a 1970 Led Zeppelin concert achieving £3,800, a two part design proof for a Nick Drake/Ralph McTell concert (Nick Drake’s final public performance) making an incredible £3,120 from a £300 - £500 estimate, a rare Black Sabbath poster for Ewell Tech selling at £1,800 from a £300 - £500 estimate, a 1972 Genesis poster making £1,500 from a £200 - £400 estimate, a Queen / Genesis poster again for an event at Ewell Tech achieving £900 from a £400 - £600 estimate.
